KOALA TREE · FOR PROFESSIONALS

For Professionals

Reflective support for people working with children.

Koala Tree offers child therapy and creative clinical supervision. I welcome conversations with schools, social care teams, health professionals and others involved in supporting a child, so that we can consider whether my service is a suitable fit and how any work could be coordinated.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Creative Clinical Supervision

I currently offer individual and group supervision as a trainee Clinical Supervisor while completing my postgraduate supervisor training, which I expect to finish in early 2027. Supervision provides a protected, reflective space to think about the work, the relationships around it and the impact it has on you. We can explore safeguarding, boundaries, ethical questions, uncertainty and the child’s communication, while keeping their welfare at the centre.

TRAINING AND REFLECTIVE SESSIONS

Training for schools and teams

I offer practical, reflective training for professionals who want to build respectful, confident ways of supporting neurodivergent children and children who have experienced trauma or early adversity. Sessions can draw on play therapy, communication, emotional safety and the importance of understanding behaviour in context.

Please contact me to discuss training or a reflective session. Content, format and availability are agreed around the needs of the setting.

PLAYROOM AVAILABILITY

The Koala Tree playroom may be available on selected days and at certain times for other play therapists to use. If you are looking for a welcoming, specialist play therapy space to work from, please get in touch to ask about current availability and arrangements.

REFERRALS AND COLLABORATION

Working alongside the child’s network

When a child is referred by a school, local authority or another professional, I aim to communicate clearly about the purpose of the work, the roles of the people involved and how information will be shared. The child’s safety, privacy and wellbeing remain central.
